Update on the SADNA Canteen
For some weeks now the canteen at SADNA has been closed, largely due the operator not being able to find staff, a situation that is not unique to them but hospitality in general.
I am pleased to announce that the canteen will be re-opening on July 25 with new operators and I am excited about what they bring to SADNA.
Andrew and Michelle are the owners of local Food Truck business “Paella Bar” and they have extensive experience in the food industry and catering.
Andrew and Michelle would like to welcome Linda Gare as a new face in the canteen. Linda is very experienced running canteens and has her own line of vegan sweet treats.
We will be offering quality snacks and treats to your players and families.
The canteen will be called Bites Café and we have a logo in the works with our graphics designer.
Bites Café will be offering all your favourites……
Barista made coffee and hot chocolates.
Milkshakes and cold drinks.
Hot chips, hot dogs & nuggets.
Hot donuts & jam donuts.
Snack food eg chips, chocolates and lollies.
We will also offer a selection of vegan sweet treats and gluten free cookies.
On Saturdays there will also be a selection of bakery goods, toasted sandwiches and croissants available.
Paella Bar Truck will be open at the netball on a Tuesday night offering Chicken and Chorizo Paella and Vegetarian/Vegan Paella (all gluten, dairy, soy and nut free ) and our famous gluten free churros and chocolate.
We will gauge the response and adjust this accordingly, initially we will offer Paella on a Tuesday night.
